Help us make Nevada's natural beauty and history accessible to all.
About Virtual Outdoor Experiences
VOEs are comprised of a virtual walking tour embedded into an ArcGIS StoryMap (website) that allows the user to explore the site as if they were on location. Each virtual tour features text and images that are analogous to physical interpretive signs and kiosks in existing interpreted archaeological sites or trail systems. Combined, the tour and the StoryMap will provide an engaging and immersive experience for public users to learn about the history of Nevada. With VOEs, recreational trails with cultural and natural importance are freely accessible to anyone with an internet connection, relieving the stress and burden of many physical, economical, and logistical limitations.
